This year’s 10k runners, and the family of Sherry Langlais whose fight with cancer inspired the Memory in Miles, walk pose for a photo on Saturday. On May 13 the sixth annual Memory in Miles was held at the Ear Falls Rec Center. This year more than $7,000 was raised to support people within the community fighting cancer. In the six years that Memory in Miles has been organized over $31,000 has been donated. Continuing last year’s tradition, an ATV derby followed the walk. Seventy-eight ATVs participated in the derby and winners were Tom Anderson, Darryl Desjardins, and Steven McCord. The Ear Falls Firefighters cooked up burgers and hot dogs at the halfway point for the riders.
