On Friday March 30th, students from our local elementary schools participated in their annual curling bonspiel. The curlers had a fun and exciting day, made some great shots and displayed fantastic sportsmanship.

A Event Winners

Winners of the A Event from Red Lake Madsen Public School were (from left) Shannon Molloy, Nicholas Beraro, Robert Collette,Alyssia Hawryluk. Douglas Amell, Hayden Badiuk, Jocelyn Morin, Bethany Potter and Jenna Blower from Golden Learning Centre placed 2nd in the A Event.

B Event Winners

Winners of the B Event from Red Lake Madsen Public School were (from left) Justine Duncalfe, Jessica Gelderland, Sam Thompson, Danny Collette. St. John’s School also placed 2nd in the B Event, with results credited to Skylar Jodouin, Jared Gustafson, Chloe Hollos and Landon Turtle.

C Event Winners

Winners of the C Event from Golden Learning Centre, which came down to a shootout were (from left) Josh Monk, Hannah Aubie, Jamie Watson, Sydney Amell, Darci Mann. Second in the C Event went to Malcolm Glazier, Delaiah Owen, John Barc and Jazmin Solomon from St. John’s School.

D Event Winners

Winners of the D Event from Ear Falls Public School (EFPS), which came down to a shootout were David Ross, Kayla Neveu-Gordan, Winonah Thompson, Emma Simon. Curlers from Ear Falls Public School placed 2nd in the D Event and consisted of Lucas Anthony, Dakota Bacon, Autumn Riffel, Kennedy Gagne and Morgan Burdeney.
